Justin Wilson, PhD
Dr. Justin Wilson is an Indigenous Clinical Counsellor (Qualifying RCC) at the Vancouver Therapy Collective under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Brown. His approach blends Indigenous ancestral teachings with contemporary tools and modalities (WayFinding) in a culturally humble and highly relational manner. He specializes in creating a psychologically safe spaces to explore greater well-being and life satisfaction.
He offers therapy for individuals at our Kitsilano office or virtually throughout British Columbia. Some of the approaches he draws from include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Men’s Anger Management Group Therapy, among others.
He is climate aware, feminist, trauma informed, and certified to offer his clients a diverse range of psychometric assessments tools and bio-feedback techniques to help identify and sustain new insights and skills they’ll learn during the time together.
