LOW COST COUNSELLING IN VANCOUVER
Our affordable therapy options
The Vancouver Therapy Collective is a low-cost counselling practice based in Vancouver and offering affordable therapy across British Columbia. We work with practicum students in the final year of their masters’ programs and match them with people looking for counselling but who struggle to find affordable therapy options.
Our goal is to make affordable therapy accessible to everyone, regardless of their resources, and help overcome the financial barriers that limit people’s access to stronger mental health.
We offer counselling at sliding scale prices, which means that session rates are calculated based on your resources. Fees start as low as $70 - $110 per session, and will be evaluated subject to each individual’s unique circumstance.
We calculate the cost of counselling during our free 15-minute clinical intake. Prospective sliding-scale clients should expect to contribute around 11% of their monthly earnings to therapy. For more information about the intake process, click here.
