Kiera Connell, BCYC

Kiera Connell is a clinical counselling intern completing the Master of Counselling program through City University. She is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where clients feel like they are truly seen and heard.

Kiera is guided by a person-centered therapeutic approach. This approach is enriched with elements of feminist therapy, solution focused therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. She seeks to collaborate with clients on their care, centering them as the expert on their experience and their needs within a therapeutic relationship.

Kiera has over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector focusing on life skills programming for youth that are experiencing homelessness. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, getting lost in a good book, or joining a workout class. Kiera feels privileged to have the opportunity to support clients through the Vancouver Therapy Collective.
