Who we work with at VANCOUVER THERAPY COLLECTIVE

Our small team provides counselling that is welcoming, compassionate, and grounded in care. We focus on individual counselling for adults from diverse backgrounds, providing high-quality, affordable support that is accessible to everyone. Each session is designed to meet you where you are and help you take meaningful steps forward.

Our Focus on Individual Counselling for Adults

Most of our work is one-on-one counselling with adults. Individual sessions give you space to talk openly about what you are going through, whether it is stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship concerns, or simply needing extra support during a life transition.

We welcome people from many walks of life. Some of our clients are professionals facing pressure in demanding industries. Others are students or young adults balancing school, work, and questions about the future. Many are newcomers adjusting to life in Vancouver or individuals looking for therapy that is affordable and accessible.

No matter your background or circumstance, our goal is the same: to provide high-quality care that meets you where you are and helps you move forward in a way that feels right for you.

How Low-Cost Counselling Works

Our low-cost counselling is provided by practicum student therapists who are completing the clinical portion of their graduate training. These students work under close supervision from our clinical director Dr. Christopher Brown. This model ensures you receive quality support at a reduced rate, while also helping the next generation of therapists gain valuable experience. Sessions are structured, professional, and designed to meet your needs.

Our sliding scale is based on your individual resources and what you can afford to pay. This means that your rate is set according to what is sustainable for you, rather than a fixed fee. We talk through the options during our free introduction call with you at the start so that the cost is clear, transparent, and manageable. The goal is to remove financial barriers and make sure counselling is accessible to as many people as possible.
